Stand with the veterans who stand to lose their jobs in Bristol Bay

Every summer, hundreds of veterans head to Bristol Bay, Alaska to earn a living as commercial fishermen. It's not easy work and it separates them from their families -- again -- but in this tough economy it pays well and takes care of things back home.

Unfortunately, two foreign mining companies with connections to the Koch Brothers are trying to dig a mine near the Bay that would destroy these jobs and lay waste to the environment.

Just last week, the EPA just released their final draft and assessment of the project and determined the the mine “poses a substantial risk to the region’s ecosystem.” As a result of the campaign and these findings, investors in the mine are beginning to walk away from the project.

Sign our petition calling on the remaining investors to abandon this project and protect the jobs of the veterans who head to the Bay every year to earn a living as commercial fisherman.
